On January 8th, Changzhou Sunlight Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., located in Benniu Town, Wujin District, laid the foundation for a new pharmaceutical project.

This project is a national encouraged project (biopharmaceutical project) invested and constructed by Sunlight Pharmaceutical Company based on the acquisition of Changzhou Shenma Pharmaceutical. The engineering design meets relevant standards in China, the United States, and Europe. After completion, it will accept and pass the certification of the new national GMP, the US FDA, and the European EDQM. The land is 150 acres, with a total investment of 800 million yuan, and will be implemented in three phases. After reaching the production capacity, the annual output value will be 2.5 billion yuan, and the annual profit and tax increase will be 1 billion yuan. The first phase includes the construction of a comprehensive preparation workshop, a quality inspection and research and development building, and public engineering facilities. The equipment is planned to be installed and debugged in August this year, and passed the on-site acceptance of the national new version of drug GMP in the first half of 2015. The ultimate goal is to build a low-carbon and energy-saving garden style biopharmaceutical park that integrates biopharmaceutical research and development, production, and sales, with scientific management and modern equipment.
